The Lighter Side of our Core Associates

Although many might feel that way at work or at home, it keeps life interesting! So, aside from the daily twists and turns, my job is rewarding. I enjoy the camaraderie; I’m lucky to work with amazing associates, clients and media representatives who are kind and knowledgeable – all who inspire me to do my best and reach a little further. There’s storytelling – whether it be a news release or article, I like rolling up my sleeves and telling the stories that support our clients’ initiatives. There’s match making; seeking out the right matches between our clients’ messages and editorial opportunities is very rewarding. And it’s also interesting to gain technical knowledge–learning more each day about the multitude of manufacturing technologies is empowering.

At home I live with my husband “Jim” and my dog “Dasher” — we are “pseudo” empty nesters. That’s because although our son (recently married!) and daughter are independent, thriving and sadly only stopping in for an occasional visit, we sometimes have our elderly mothers with us who continue to both amaze and keep us on our toes. Spending time with family is my #1 happy place, and besides lots of outdoor adventures, we get pretty competitive when playing board games!

Supporting our community by “giving back” is important to my husband and me. Recently, we helped fundraise for our Town’s new playground and Jim has even put his brick laying skills to use by helping to build its new walkway. I am also glad to assist with PR efforts that support persons with disabilities in our community.
