The campaign, which kicked off with full-page print and digital display ads, aims to educate the audience on Starrett’s long and rich history of manufacturing in the United States amid a misguided negative perception by some of its customer base that the global company is manufacturing many of its products in other regions of the world. The “Made in America” campaign will have a long duration of at least several years and will be executed through a vigorous public relations, social media, and advertising strategy.

Several print and digital advertisements have been created and placed in various media channels, highlighting Starrett’s expansive range of precision tools, gages and metrology equipment which Starrett manufactures the vast majority of in the United States of America. McCue & Associates also designed and produced a beautiful, special-edition brochure with a complimentary U.S.A flag poster that tributes Starrett’s tradition of American made skills and quality.

In addition, earlier this year, McCue & Associates selected an in-depth podcast on the subject by engaging Starrett as a yearlong program sponsor, in addition to securing an episode dedicated to Starrett in Modern Machine Shop’s ‘Made in the USA’ podcast series. The episode featuring Starrett, which can be accessed here, is tied in first place as the most listened podcast in the series of 12 episodes, realizing over 1,000 downloads to date.
