The Lighter Side of our Core Associates

Working in PR and marketing means thinking clearly, staying curious and being comfortable with uncertainty – a bit like an adventure.

Outside of work, I’m almost always looking for a reason to be outside, and you can typically find me at the beach or in the mountains. I’m rarely ever “in” unless I’m working out or at the climbing gym. I hike, snowboard and paddle whenever the opportunity presents itself, and I also train for and compete in Spartan races. These races have quickly become one of my favorite ways to challenge both my physical and mental limits. All in all, staying active, whether inside or out, is how I reset and stay grounded in a fast-paced, always-on industry, and it’s where I do some of my best thinking.

I’m a devoted dog person. My dog, Einstein, is the best — no argument. He’s a Border Collie, and almost every outing is better with him along for the ride. He’s equal parts adventure buddy and a constant reminder to get moving, but he’s never adverse to a good snuggle.

Recently, I started a personal National Parks challenge, which has become a long-term goal and a constant source of motivation to explore new places, try harder routes and keep learning along the way. I’m up to five parks so far, with Acadia as a repeat visit and early favorite.

For me, adventure isn’t about checking boxes; it’s about staying curious and continuing to push forward, one trail at a time.
