In October of 2015, client Methods Machine Tools entered into a partnership agreement with 3D Systems a provider of the most advanced 3D printers, print materials and cloud-sourced custom parts and formed Methods3D, a subsidiary of Methods Machine Tools.

To help launch the subsidiary and generate industry awareness of their exciting new capabilities in a totally new technology/ industry category, McCue & Associates on short notice drew editors of leading manufacturing media to a kick-off event at Methods headquarters in Sudbury, MA. In addition, for the ensuing months McCue & Associates generated substantial coverage in an aggressive, sustained PR campaign that included a roundup article in Automotive Design and Production magazine; feature articles in Fabricating and Metalworking magazine, Manufacturing Engineering magazine, 3D Metal Printing magazine and TCT magazine North America and Europe; as well as a white paper presentation that drew 500 manufacturing professionals at IMTS, North American’s largest, most influential manufacturing tradeshow.

The results were an impressive 3,156,539 total impressions from 56 pages of coverage that helped position Methods as the leading industrial/ production grade solution for 3D metal printing of precision parts/ components.
